SHE Spells Doom is an Electronic music project created by Zambian producer, Wamya Tembo. It draws inspiration from a number of his influences, such as: 80s Sci-Fi/Horror movies, (Congolese) Rhumba/Soukous, Gqom and early 2000s Rap production, which he mixes with House and Techno elements he picked up from time living in Geneva, Switzerland. His style can best be described as hazy but driving - usually seeking to create a visceral atmosphere without neglecting the dancefloor by combining trademark airy synth-lines with heavy drum programming. 

“For this mix, I tried to capture the frantic energy of the kind of week I was having when I made this mix.

Felt a bit all over the place but mostly excited about a few changes coming up, musically + w/ life in general.

Expect lots of tempo switches, swooshes + rushing drums from some new favourites + artists who have inspired me/the S.S.D. project up till this point”
